Aims
The course will provide an overview of how to deal with chemical spillages, defining 'simple' and 'complex' spillages, policies and procedures, and reporting and documentation.
Objectives
On completion of this course learners will be able to:
- Have a basic understanding of 'simple' and 'complex' spillages.
- Have a basic understanding of how to define chemical hazards within the workplace.
- Be aware of the process associated with a chemical spillage.
- Know the importance of policies and procedures.
