Aims
This course aims to explain the best way to layout trays for sterilization and for the end user. It will also cover how the tray checksheet should be laid out and an overview of supplementary items.
Objectives
On completion of this module learners will be able to:
- Learn about standardising the checksheet content.
- Understand the ideal way the checksheet should be laid out and why.
- Understand a standardised way of listing the instrument descriptions.
- Assemble a tray of instrument according to the listing on the checksheet.
- Understand the different purposes of the checksheet.
- Understand how to manage supplementary items.
