Aims
The ensure the learner understands the PPE requirements for staff working in the sterilization areas, both pre and post. Understand the Health and Safety manual handling requirements to protect themselves and the items they handle.
Objectives
On completion of this course learners will:
- Understand the importance of PPE in the sterilization areas.
- Understand the requirements of PPE in the sterilization areas.
- Understand how to avoid injuries.
- Understand how to correctly handle and carry items pre and post sterilization.
