Aims

This course provides an understanding of what total viable count means and how this is useful in the operation of instrument washers, endoscope washer disinfectors, and endoscope pre-washing tools. 

Objectives

  • Understand TVC requirements depending on the water type. 
  • Understand the importance of biofilm.
